Operation Lock It Up

During our regular neighborhood patrols if our officers observe unlocked vehicles or exposed valuables they will utilize the Operation Lock it Up door hanger. This will alert the property owner to make sure their valuables are removed and their vehicle or property is secured to assist in deterring criminal activity in our neighborhoods. Operation Lock it Up is a notification process to assist our citizens on crime prevention measures as we all strive to keep our neighborhoods safe.

Operation Lock it Up prevention measures include removing valuables from vehicles at night and ensuring they are locked, closing garage doors, making sure doors and windows are properly secured when homeowners are working or are away and facilitating adequate lighting (home and business) in dark or secluded areas.
